Dr. Montes earned his medical degree in 2007 from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA from 2007-2010, after which, he completed interventional cardiology and cardiovascular medicine fellowships at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA from 2010-2014. Dr. Montes is board certified in internal medicine, general, and interventional cardiology, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Montes is fluent in Spanish.
