Dr. Tony Riddick earned his medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship in General Surgery at the United States Navy, Navy Hospital, his residency in Internal Medicine at University of California Los Angeles and his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at University of California San Diego. He is Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and in Critical Care Medicine. He holds the position of Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. He is also the Medical Director for Subspecialty Education in Critical Care Medicine at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center Internal Medicine Program, and is the Regional Co-Medical Director of Critical Care Services for Providence Health & Services in Oregon. Dr. Riddick has played an instrumental role in the development of protocols designed to ensure up to date, standardized care in intensive care units across Oregon. Along with his passion for critical care, areas of interest include venous thromboembolic disease, interstitial lung disease, and pleural disease.
