With more than 25 years of clinical experience in the area of reproductive endocrinology for women, Dr. Treacy is well versed in the management of hormone balance. The practice has evolved from an academic medical center, through rural health care as well as practice in suburban areas of two major cities. With the changes in health care, Dr. Treacy has opted out of obstetrical practice and now focuses on hormone evaluation and balance for premenopausal and menopausal women. He recently added hormone replacement for men to his practice. The practice is currently limited to office medical practice and provides office gynecology as well as primary care for women. Opting out of insurance contracts as well as Medicare and Medicaid has allowed the development of a patient centered and service oriented style of practice based on a direct pay model. Dr. Treacy has limited the number of patients seen during a typical office day so that he is able to provide routine 45-60 minute face to face consultations with patients, developing treatment protocols that are individualized for each. Patients have access to their chart through an email based secure internet based electronic medical record. Virtual office consultations are also available through telemedicine.
