Bruce Yacyshyn, MD, is a Professor Medicine in the Division of Digestive Diseases at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. He is also the Medical Director for Inpatient Gastroenterology at UC Health University Hospital. Dr. Yacyshyn is a member of the Digestive Health Center at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center. He is an authority in the fields of inflammatory bowel disease, gut immunology and translational research. He holds numerous patents for the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases and his work has directly resulted in FDA approval for new treatments for IBD. He works with his wife, Mary Beth Yacyshyn, an immunologist whose teaching and research in intestinal disorders have also received international recognition.
