Brief Intro

I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. I attended college at UC Berkeley and studied political science and business. After college I worked as a financial analyst and management consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as Washington, D.C. My job, however, did not provide me with the type of fulfillment I was looking for. I always wanted to be a surgeon, and I regretted not following this passion in college. I decided to go back to school and study pre-med, and the rest is history. I then spent ten years in New York City and Connecticut studying medicine and urology. When I returned to Los Angeles, I completed a prostate cancer fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where I also was in private practice.
