Brad E. R. Smith, MD, is a full-time psychiatrist who is board certified in adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, specializing in the assessment and treatment of complex or multiple mental health diagnoses.
Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Smith was the Forensic Clinical Director and Assistant Medical Director at the Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison. He is currently assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he teaches in the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program. He is also a clinical associate professor at the University of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry, where he teaches medical students and residents.
Dr. Smith completed his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. He received his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis.
He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, Wisconsin Psychiatric Association, and the Wisconsin Medical Society. Dr. Smith has lectured to professional and community audiences on a wide range of mental health topics.
