Dr. Iverson earned his medical degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He completed a rotating internship at the University of Oregon Hospitals in Portland, before moving on to Los Angeles, California. There, Dr. Iverson completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center.
Dr. Iverson has been practicing orthopaedics for over 27 years. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1977 and joined the Helena Orthopaedic Clinic in 1993. Prior to moving back to Montana, Dr. Iverson practiced in Los Angeles, CA for seventeen years. In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Iverson is a member of numerous other professional organizations, including the Montana Medical Association and the Lewis and Clark Medical Association.
