I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. My original career goal was to become a professional baseball player. I lived that dream until I was 9 years old, when my mother told me that she wouldn't let me be a baseball player for a living and wouldn't even give me $5 to join Little League. That said, I settled for my second career choice at age 9, becoming a doctor.
