Dr. Benjamin Elgamil caters to patients of all ages with foot and ankle concerns. He is a native of Maryland and has treated thousands of patients in pain. Dr. Elgamil earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University. He went on to spend three years of comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency training in the Aria Health System at the Aria 3B Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia, PA. During this time, Dr. Elgamil served as Chief Resident and focused on conservative treatments and innovative surgical correction of foot and ankle fracture care, diabetic limb salvage, and deformity correction.He has published in the Journal of Arthritis and the Annals of Sports Medicine and Research. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is on the active staff at Howard County General Hospital, Lifebridge Health: Northwest and Sinai Hospital, University of Maryland: St. Joseph Medical Center, and Greater Baltimore Medical Center.Dr. Elgamil lives in Baltimore with his wife and two kids (and Lucy, the Shih tzu!).
