Dr. Attiya S. Khan earned her medical degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical College at The University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan where she was named the best medical graduate and awarded six gold medals. She completed her residency training at New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center which is affiliated with New York Medical College. She completed fellowship training in cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston where she served as chief cardiology fellow.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology,
Dr. Khan has been practicing medicine in Houston since 1982. Her clinical interests include coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stents, pacemakers and the loop recorder. She provides in-office nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, arterial, venous and carotid dopplers.
Speaking Urdu and Spanish, Dr. Khan treats patients 18 years and older. She delivers highly personalized, compassionate, comprehensive and customized cardiac care.
Residing in northwest Houston, Dr. Khan is married and has one son and two grandchildren. In her time away from the office she enjoys exercising, traveling, reading and interior decorating.
