Dr. Sonneborn was born in Wheeling, West Virginia and was raised in the Western Pennsylvania area south of Pittsburgh. He received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from West Virginia University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree also from West Virginia University in 1985. He received his Master's degree in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan in 1987. Dr. Sonneborn is active in several dental and orthodontic associations including: The American Dental Association The Michigan Dental Association The Jackson District Dental Society The American Association of Orthodontists The Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists The Michigan Association of Orthodontists Dr. Sonneborn is a board eligible orthodontist of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Sonneborn is a board certified orthodontist by the Michigan Board of Dentistry.
