Brief Intro

Dr. Tran has performed aesthetic surgery in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex for nearly 22 years. He graduated with high honors from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1979 and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1983. After his general surgery training at LSU Medical Centers, he went on to complete his fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois Hospitals and the Center for Craniofacial Anomalies in Chicago where he was a chief resident in Plastic Surgery in 1989. He also did a fellowship in cosmetic surgery and breast surgery in Paris, France. Dr. Tran is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the selected plastic surgeons of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and also a member of the Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society. He has a passion for missionary surgery. He has involved with many organizations in this quest including Operation Smile, Operation Rainbow, Operation Share, House of Charity, World Mission Possible and others to provide his compassionate and charitable contribution. He has traveled all over the world from Asia to Africa to Central and South America performing a multitude of free reconstructive surgeries for congenital, cancer and traumatic deformities for the poor, the unfortunate and the destitute children and adults alike. During his many trips, he not only performs surgeries but also teaches and imparts his surgical skills and knowledge to countless international plastic surgeons.
