Brief Intro

Dr. Tony Brothers specializes in joint replacement surgeries, sports medicine and orthopedic trauma. He recently retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service, where he served as Chief of Surgery and was deployed to Afghanistan twice. Lt Col Brothers received 2 Army Commendation Medals for his service in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Brothers earned his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of Health Science in Bethesda, Maryland. He was a General Surgery intern for one year at David Grant Medical Center then went off to take care of pilots and fly in jets as a flight surgeon at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Dr. Brothers received a very competitive paid military scholarship to attend the University of California San Diego for his orthopedic training. Dr. Brothers is licensed in the states of California and Florida and has been board certified in Orthopedic Surgery since 2005. Dr. Brothers has been stationed at Eglin AFB for the past 11 years and is very excited to continue to serve the emerald coast community at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
