Andrija Vidic, DO, is a board-certified advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist who earned his medical degree at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his internal medicine at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri, and a clinical fellowship in cardiovascular medicine there, as well. Dr. Vidic went on to a second clinical fellowship in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant at the University of Utah. In 2017, he served as an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist at AdventHealth Transplant Institute in Orlando, Florida. After his departure from AdventHealth in 2020, Dr. Vidic joined the University of Kansas to direct their heart transplant program. Dr. Vidic rejoins AdventHealth Transplant Institute as System Medical Director for Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation. He is passionate about improving patients’ experience and quality of care delivered at the transplant program.
