Dr. Githaiga received his medical education at the University of Nairobi College of Health Sciences. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is board certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease and certified by the ABIM in Critical Care Medicine.
