Dr. Andrea Badillo specializes in pediatric surgery with a special interest in fetal diagnosis and prenatal counseling. She attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, as an undergraduate and moved north to Washington., DC to complete medical school and her residency at George Washington University. She then spent three years researching at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) during her general surgery residency, before completing her pediatric surgery fellowship there. She has received a number of awards for her research and has been a member of the Alpha Omega National Honor Society since 2000. She also spends time teaching and mentoring medical students.
