Brief Intro

Dr. French was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Equine Science from Colorado State University and a master's degree in Molecular Biology at San Jose State University. After her Master's, she moved to Valhalla, NY where she graduated with an MD from New York Medical College in 2003. She pursued a General Surgery residency which started at UCSF-Fresno in 2003 and finished at Abington Memorial Hospital in 2008. Although interested in all aspects of general surgery, she found most enjoyment in Laparoscopic General Surgery and obtained an extra year of training as a Minimally Invasive Surgery /Bariatric Surgery Fellow at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, Oakland and Berkeley, which finished in 2009. She has since been Board Certified in General Surgery and has most recently left a group practice in San Jose to join Washington Township Medical Foundation. Although her practice includes the broad spectrum of general surgery including but not limited to gallbladder disease, hernias and breast surgery, she has a special focus in the minimally invasive colorectal surgery for colon cancer and benign colon disease, minimally invasive solid organ surgery such as laparoscopic adrenalectomies and splenectomies, and minimally invasive anti-gastroesophageal reflux procedures. Her surgical practice centers around a patient focused perspective and strives to ensure a supportive gold standard surgical experience.
