I_m a child of the Northwest, born in Seattle and raised in Bellevue, Washington. After completing my residency at the University of Washington and starting a family, we moved to Bainbridge Island, where I also have family roots. I_m married to my best friend, whom I met in college. He was born and raised in Hawaii, so we have many family ties there as well. We have two daughters and two cats.
