Brief Intro

Dr. Alycia R. Foti, a native of New York City, has a deep connection to the Jersey Shore, having spent her childhood summers enjoying the beaches and embracing the vibrant communities of Monmouth County. She is thrilled to return to New Jersey to provide dedicated care to children and adolescents with hematological and oncological conditions. Dr. Foti is honored to join the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital family, where she can give back to a community that has been a second home to her family for generations.

Dr. Foti attended the University of California Los Angeles, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in History. It was during this time she participated in multiple volunteerships, including the Child Life department at Mattel Children’s Hospital and medical missions to Honduras and Ghana. She subsequently joined NYU Langone Medical Center’s Department of Infection Prevention & Control, aiding in special research projects on monitoring hand hygiene and frequently touched surfaces, clinical trials data analyses and Hurricane Sandy clean up guidelines. Dr. Foti completed medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, followed by Pediatric Residency at Rutgers NJMS University Hospital in Newark, NJ and Hackensack Meridian Joseph M. Sanzari’s Children’s Hospital in Hackensack. She graduated from subspecialty training in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at NYP-Columbia University Irving Medical Center. 

Dr. Foti is a passionate advocate for patient rights, healthcare access, and health literacy. She is committed to enhancing understanding among her patients, their families, and her colleagues. Her clinical interests include leukemia, lymphoma, relapsed and refractory cases of these diseases, oncofertility and bleeding disorders.
