Dr. YASSER EL-SERGANY, MD specializes in advanced techniques in varicose vein treatment.
He graduated from the Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt before specializing in general surgery and gaining the distinction of Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. In the U.S., Dr. El-Sergany specialized in emergency medicine at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. He has held several academic positions including director of medical education and adjunct professor of general surgery at Nova Southeastern University, professor of western medicine at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, and advanced trauma life support instructor for the American College of Surgeons. Dr. El-Sergany served as the medical director for Norwegian Cruise Line for several years, caring for the passengers and crew of Oahu and the outer islands.
