Dr. Bird was born in Madrid, Spain and raised in Puerto Rico where he graduated in 1983 with a dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. After years of private practice as a general dentist he pursued his dreams of specializing in Periodontics. In 1998, he graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry where he also completed a Master in Science degree.
In 1998 he moved to Florida with his wife, Frances and two boys, Alberto and Jose. He establish his practice of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Largo, Fl. Dr. Bird has a passion for dentistry and he enjoys meeting his patients and offering them a variety of treatment options to help them improve their health condition. His experience as a general dentist for many years offers him the advantage to provide patients with a comprehensive view of their condition and alternatives to treatment.
When he is not working with teeth, Dr. Bird is in the water; kayaking, boating, fishing or swimming. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, baseball and football games, and is a great cook!
