Brief Intro

Dr. Mudgil was born in Brooklyn and grew up on Long Island. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Emory University, an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the Stony Brook University School of Medicine, and a former Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellow and Scholar. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Long Island and his residency in dermatology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. After his residency training, he completed a fellowship at the prestigious Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology. Dr. Mudgil is board-certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology. He has published extensively in the medical literature and has lectured at the national meetings of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Investigative Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is an attending physician at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he is actively involved in teaching medical students and resident physicians.
