Abd Khatib, MD, FACC, graduated from Aleppo University Medical School, Aleppo, Syria, in 1974. He served in the military service until 1977. Dr. Khatib completed three years of Internal Medicine training at Lutheran Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio and a two-year Cardiology Fellowship at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital, Detroit, MI. Dr. Khatib is Board Certified and specializes in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Khatib is dedicated to improving patient well-being and alleviating suffering and discomfort through appropriate medical treatment and management. He implants permanent pacemakers and works with pacemaker management and heart catherizations for heart diagnosis. Dr. Khatib introduced heart catherization to the Eau Claire area.
