Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I had sisters in nursing school and another who is a physician. They encouraged me to go to nursing school.What I want my patients to know about me:I moved to the area from Nebraska in 1989. I am married with three boys. I worked as a RN at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital prior to starting at WFM-Lake Street as a Nurse Practitioner.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I like nerdy things generally. I built a computer a couple of years ago, then had to spend a couple of hours on the phone with a friend getting it to work! I took the family camping for the first time last year and will try to make that a more regular thing.
